About the Founder - Dr. Veronika Babic, MD

Functional Medicine Doctor & Founder of the Health and Longevity Institute

Dr. Veronika Babic, MD, is a leading expert bringing a new standard to modern medicine. Her work integrates functional, regenerative, and osteopathic approaches into a single, comprehensive system — with the aim of restoring natural health, slowing biological aging, and addressing the true root causes of disease rather than just managing symptoms.

Her expertise spans both the treatment and prevention of chronic conditions, with a strong emphasis on early, meaningful prevention long before illness develops. She combines advanced diagnostics with longevity science and a deep understanding of how the body heals when its structures, biochemistry, fascia, and nervous system are aligned.

As the founder of the Health and Longevity Institute and the creator of an original method for functional facial and body rejuvenation, she also developed the educational program Perfect Health — a complete system teaching people how to naturally restore their health, lower biological age, and maintain long-term balance without reliance on medications or invasive procedures.

Her work represents a new era of medicine focused on vitality, regeneration, and true, lasting health — grounded in the belief that the body is intelligent, adaptable, and capable of far more than modern healthcare typically recognizes.

Why I Believe in Regeneration and the Innate Intelligence of the Human Body — Not Symptom Suppression  The Journey of Dr. Veronika Babic, MD

Early Insight: Recognizing the Limits of Conventional Medicine

During her medical studies at the Jessenius Faculty of Medicine at Comenius University, Dr. Veronika Babic completed several international clinical rotations that fundamentally shaped her understanding of human health. At the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Taipei (Taiwan), she encountered a philosophy of healing built on balance, structural coherence, and natural self-renewal — without medication or invasive procedures. Later, during a rotation in plastic surgery in São Paulo (Brazil), she witnessed a contrasting approach: rapid transformation achieved by suppressing signs and symptoms rather than addressing underlying dysfunction.

Even as a student, she recognized a repeating pattern in conventional medicine: patients often improved temporarily, but they did not truly heal. This realization initiated her search for a medical approach that restores health at the level of cause, not effect.

Discovery of Functional Medicine and the Vision of a New Healthcare System

This path led her to functional medicine, which she began exploring during university and later studied formally through the Functional Medicine University in the United States. While practicing as a rehabilitation physician in the Spa Medical Institute in Piešťany and later in rehabilitation and occupational medicine clinics, she began to apply functional medicine principles to real patients with chronic conditions.

Despite conventional beliefs that many conditions are "incurable," her clinical experience revealed something different: when the root causes are addressed, genuine healing becomes possible — without lifelong medication or invasive procedures.

Entering Regenerative Medicine and the Science of Stem Cells

In 2023, she founded Inštitút zdravia, a Slovak institute dedicated to functional medicine, disease prenention and regeneration. Before that, she worked at the Institute of Predictive and Personalized Medicine (IPPM), focusing on: the microbiome, neurotransmitters, fecal microbiota transplantation and stem cell applications.

She also trained in regenerative medicine with Dr. Joy Kong, deepening her understanding of stem cell biology and regenerative processes. Later she realised that the body can activate, protect, and expand its own stem cell pools naturally through structural regeneration, nutrition, and epigenetics.

From Aesthetics to Structural Regeneration

Her interest in aesthetic and regenerative medicine led her to training in botulinum toxin and dermal fillers, followed by advanced training with Dr. Harris (UK) in minimally invasive rejuvenation techniques. Although she achieved precise, aesthetically refined outcomes, she recognized a fundamental truth: these procedures mask signs of aging — they do not correct their underlying causes.

This inner conflict led her to osteopathic approaches to structural correction. By integrating medical science with profound structural understanding, she developed her own system of functional rejuvenation of the face and body — a natural, non-invasive method that restores vitality, balance, and harmony.

Personal Experience: The Missing Piece in Health and Beauty

Her own health challenges further deepened her understanding. Several issues remained unresolved by conventional medicine — yet structural correction created lasting change. She discovered that many aesthetic, functional, and systemic issues share a common root.

For example: a narrow maxilla can dysregulate the autonomic nervous system, increase sympathetic dominance, contribute to sleep apnea, impair nasal breathing and reduce oxygenation of the brain. Birth trauma, lack of breastfeeding, improper orthodontics, and tooth extractions can influence facial development, cranial blood flow, posture, and long-term vitality.

She now applies these insights when working with both adults and children, helping support healthy development, breathing, posture, and nervous system balance.

Developing Systems for Prevention and Long-Term Health

Over years of clinical practice, she observed consistent patterns in the origins of chronic disease. From this, she developed a structured approach to restoring health that integrates: functional medicine, structural correction, epigenetics, regenerative principles, fascia and cranial work and longevity science.

For her Slovak audience, she created a comprehensive educational program on restoring health and lowering biological age. The English version of this system will be developed for an international audience in the future.

Prevention, Biological Age, and the Medicine of the Future

Her work with severely ill patients revealed a breakthrough understanding: true health is created long before disease emerges. Many people live in a state of "relative health" where dysfunction is already forming, yet symptoms have not appeared.

Dr. Veronika Babic teaches that early prevention and biological rejuvenation are the most effective ways to ensure longevity and vitality. Biological age is determined not by years lived, but by the condition of tissues. A biologically young body naturally resists disease and ages more slowly.

Mission

Dr. Veronika Babic's mission is to empower people to restore their health naturally — without dependency on medical systems, medications, or invasive procedures.

Her goal is to help individuals live long, vital, conscious lives in full health. To bring medicine back to its essence: supporting the body's innate capacity to regenerate, realign, and heal.
